Welcome to NR Education Consulting, LLC

NREdCo
specializes in assisting school districts, community colleges and business and industry partners in designing, implementing and monitoring educational and workforce development programs that prepare young people for life after high school.

Nicholas Rogers, President, has over 35 years experience in Education and Training. During the last 25, he has focused primarily on instructional systems that support academic achievement, Workforce Development and Employment Preparation, delivered together in integrated models. As a retired teacher, school administrator and district office administrator, he understands deeply the perspectives of school-based vs. central office staff; and, as a member of numerous boards of chambers of commerce, business and community organizations, he knows how to link these very different stakeholders in order to create and sustain collaborative programs.  As a technical support person for the California Department of Education, he is deeply familiar with the legislation and other mandates that govern funding and compliance of grants and programs.

In order to deliver first-rate services, NREdCo is lucky to bring on
as needed an impressive cadre of experienced educators, business people, legislative experts, and others in the private and non-profit sectors who understand and are committed to the importance of academic rigor in preparing students to succeed in the 21st century workplace.  These colleagues also know how to make programs happen for all young people, whether they choose to continue their education and/or training or go directly into paid employment.
